Stunned

Last Friday, i was on my way to the tennis court located opposite the school campus. Elina and her boyfriend were together with me. At the overhead bridge, this tennis mate whom i got to know on Monday, walked up to elina and me. We exchanged greetings and his next line was 'give me a hug'. I was too shocked to react and he wrapped one of his long arms around me and the other around elina. Sharks!!! What was he thinking?! His sweaty arm brushed across my chin which made me awfully disgusted. And this is the first time in my life i got hugged by a male friend. Ewwwww.... I was leaving it for my first love. How could he do that?!!! I broke free from his grasp in a matter of seconds and stared at him. It didn't seem to matter to him. I believe he was just trying to be cheeky coz he was perspiring heavily after s&w. Geez...
I forgot about the incident until after tennis, i saw him in bus 74. Oh gosh... him again. I was kinda still surprised by his action earlier and i related the entire incident to yizhen. Couldn't hold it back any longer. Had to let it out or i would burst.

Yizhen: thanks for that listening ear and dun always wear the teenage colour. It scares me.
Stephie: I blogged... finally. And pls control ur temper. It's getting out of hand.. heh heh
Lainee: Show us ur hermit crabs 1 & 2 someday, i promise i wun fling ur hermits
Baoyi: Pls tune back to our frequency... it's getting haywired
Sherlin: Pls keep ur beansprout spirit safe and sound. How about getting a mushroom spirit as well?

Sunday blues

In the past few months, i hadn't stepped out of my house for breakfast. Todae, my family and i went to a nearby coffeeshop for breakfast. Finally... Had kuay chap which was very unhealthy but delicious. Sometimes tend to regret eating such unhealty stuff. But once in a while shouldn't be a problem.. hehe...
Soon, day turned to nite. And had to prepare for tomorrow's classes. My bag weighed a ton. Breaking my shoulders. Eventually, i placed my thick bca textbook in my tennis racket cover. hehe... and it was kinda heavy as well. Didn't do much todae. Just slacking all the while.

Mummy's b'dae

Yay!!! Todae's mummy's birthday. After i came back from school, we went to a coffeeshop near my house to have dinner. Though it isn't any posh restaurant, the food served is fabulous. Mama Mia!! We had 2 plates of sting ray, a plate of bbq squid, a plate of bbq fish head, a plate of ngo hiong with 2 plates of bee hoon, 3 plates of rice, 10 sticks of satay, 5 banana fritters and 3 chicken wings shared among the five of us. haha... it's alot but we managed to finish them, packing home 1.5 chicken wings. They are still lying on my dining table.
We crapped about everything under the sun. And this morn, vicki imposed as me and talked to my sis. It was one of the many topics talked about over dinner. But some "important" details were left out to protect my sis from getting scolded by my parents. heehee... We had a great meal together.

Way home from school

Wcom ended exceptionally early todae. Quite surprising. The lecuturer is kinda scary. When she wanna make a point, her voice goes softer and she smiles. Ewwww.... Scarrrrry.....
When we reached the bus-stop, bus 74 arrived within 5 mins, not very crowded and air-conditioned. Can consider ourselves lucky. Sometimes we had to wait for 20 mins before a bus arrrives packed with people. Yizhen and i found ourselves seats at the rear of the bus. We settled down and i was looking forward to going home earlier.
However, lady luck wasn't on my side. As the bus was turning round a corner at the traffic junction, the engine died. It died!!! Discarding the thought that the bus was breaking down, i took it as the bus was just tired and needed a rest. It will be roaring with energy to continue it's journey. Sharks!!! I was wrong!!! After moving an inch, it died a second time!!! I then thought of how the entire population in the bus was going to alight at the traffic junction.
Luckily, the bus was "strong". It travelled for another 2-3 stops before dying on us again. Thrice... then the fourth time. Now, i was praying that the bus would be able to continue it's journey until at least both yizhen and i were off the bus. Fortunately, the rest of the journey was peaceful after it's engine died 4 times.
I couldn't rest in the bus. I ended up counting the number of bus-stops to my stop. A total of 25. The price also very nice. My pocket one big hole after every two weeks of transportation fares. $45 gone just liddat.
I just read yz's blog. She mentioned that the bus died again two stops before she alighted. haha.. poor thing. And the bell kept ringing non-stop after a passenger rang it. And it rang continuously for 17 times. It was just counting down to her 17th b'dae... I told her before i alighted not to oversleep. I think she didn't manage to have a wink of sleep after the incessant ringing of the bell. haha... The bus shld go visit it's doc. It's going bonkers... what a day!

Confession

Todae we had an iac lesson from 8-10am. Though it was tiring to wake up so early in the morn just to get to school on time, i was looking forward to this lesson. My tutor has a respectable air surrounding her. I admire and respect her a lot. As usual, she dragged the lesson on till almost 10am before releasing us for lms.
During the iac lesson, we had to complete an assignment based on the MBTI personality test that we were supposed to do. My type's ISFJ. This assignment required us to write at least 350 words which we thought was impossible. However, it turned out otherwise. We had so much to write about. As yizhen put it, we were writing a confession to our tutor. haha... but it was fun doing the assignment. At least i was truthful in revealing my real self. Heh heh... But i'm more or less the same as what people see me.
Then it was lms. We rehearsed for an hour after the lesson to make sure we knew what was to be done on the day of presentation. Xhi Ween is going to dance. haha... wonder how the actual presentation will turn out to be like...Hilarious??? Messed up??? Successful??? Cross fingers =x

School

School had been fun ever since it reopened. The same laughter and crappy jokes still surrounded us whenever the six gals are together. Especially absher. Never fails to make all of laugh. But loads of work are piled up. Mainly projects and tutorials that kept me busy. But todae, i am so carefree... i have nothing to do at all. For once in the past 3 weeks since school reopened.. haha.. How i wish i could have a day like that every fortnight, it will be my stress relief day. hehe..
'lainee: all the best!!!
absher: pls be normal...
stephie: drive carefully on the road.. hehe
yz: dun get stressed over lms, iac and pbl. haha
by: dun so stressed... try to calm down

House visiting

Last Saturday, i was invited to one of my colleagues' home. Accompanying me were Amira, her mum and Salihah. We took the bus to my colleague, Laina, home. Her home was so neat and cozy. Left a deep impression on me. Maybe i will deco my home like hers some day. hehe, if i ever own one. I was treated to some malay dishes and their popular malay kueh. Tasted good.. hehe. The bee hoon included beef cubes, prawns, fish cakes and vegetables. And it was spicy. Great!!! And i ate the kueh and cakes. So yummy!!! Irresistible. haha. Took some group fotos and went to Sembawang Shopping Centre to visit my friends who were working.
Bought hot chocolate. Fabulous!!! The liquid runs smoothly down the throat, feels good... Stayed for awhile and finally went home at 9 plus. On my way home, bought mac. Jeez... my hamburger... my fav. Cheap and nice...

tennis on mon

Todae, i had one of my tennis mates to accompany me during my tennis session. She's in the Friday group but our prospective president of tennis club. Woo hoo~. She's none other than Elina. Jeez.... i'm so touched when she told me that she will accompany for tennis every monday.. Oh my... i'm gonna cry... sob sob. What more can i expect? Friendship and loyalty are displayed thru this simple act. Dunno how to thank her. Her presence brings joy and life to the people around her. She is such an entertainment. My other reason for still being in tennis. haha.

Rabbity Hoppity Hop

Last week, in the lecture theatre during one of the lectures, i noticed one gal who never fails to hop down the steps of the LT. She pretty short and very small-sized. So whenever she runs down the steps, she looks like she's hopping down. Absher Christmas Shermal saw it too!!! haha... Such a hilarious sight! rabbity rabbity hop hop hop...

Meal at Sakae

Two Tuesdays ago, after working for several endless hours, my in-charge and i went to Sakae Sushi for dinner. I haven't been there for a month or so, if i remembered correctly. She intended to give me a treat but i rejected. So in the end, we shared the cost. It was a simple meal with several plates of sushi and two cups of piping hot green tea. The taste of the green tea seemed to have changed. It was not as thick and fragrant as before. Due to time constraints, we had a quick dinner and went over to the counter to foot the bill.
Unexpectedly, one of the waitresses there, whom my parents get to know, walked up to my side and asked me what i drank. I was dumbfounded by her question. "Why did she want to know what i drank??" was the first thought that came to my mind. I hesitated for a split second before i gave her my reply. Then she continued asking me whether i took other drinks. Her questions were so strange and i believe i frowned a little when i replied " No."
I was utterly surprised when she mentioned that my manager gave us 10% discount and green tea on the house. I never expected him to do that. He was pretty cold to me after i left my workplace for my studies 5 months back. Well, at that time, he gave me his hp no and asked me to call him whenever i'm free. But i never did. I didn't want him to know my hp no and moreover, we dun have anything to talk about. So this time round when i went back to work, he never came over anymore. I was rather grateful for that. Anyway, i thanked him when i met him outside the restaurant on my way to get a cup of ice-cream from Crepes and Cream. It was cheap and nice. Should give it a try. Haha...

Holidays are over!!!

I was busy working for the past two weeks and didn't have the time to update my blog. Sorri... haha. The dreaded time has finally arrived. It's time to go back to school. Haiz... pretty boring for the first week.
On monday, lecture lasted for only 1.5 hrs, and the time taken to travel to and fro my home was double that time. So sickening.
And i had tennis yesterday. My playing was extremely terrible. So i decided to go training twice a week now unless i have lots of work to complete then i will maintain it at once a week. My balls were flying everywhere except to the opposition.Further more, whenever the coach served me a ball, i can't hit it the way i want to. I wasn't in control and was too rushed. Bad day for me... But i made a new friend called Eugene. He was impressive. Though small-sized, the balls he served have lots of power and he can even play with one of the seniors. Jeez... when can i ever reach that stage??? perhaps several years later...

My last day at work

Today's my last day at work after 1.5 months of endless working. My emotions usually run high on my last day of work but luckily this time round, rasida(my in-charge) and laina( 2nd in-charge) weren't around. They are two of the many whom i will miss alot. They treated me really well and i'm very grateful for that.
My favourite chic, Salihah wasn't on duty that day, so my last goodbye to her was on Sunday. This gal gave me treats filled with lots of laughter and joy at work. It was my pleasure to work with her.
Of course there are others like Corine and Alvin, my sec sch frenz. Didn't get to work much with them as they were having their promos while i was working. And when i was about to leave, then they started working. But i will still miss them. The next time i will get to meet them will be in March and April. See ya then frenz...

Birthday celebration

Today's my in-charge's birthday. Called several colleagues to join in the celebration but none turned up. So disappointing. But i believe they were busy preparing for their puasa and couldn't find time to come down for the celebration. In the end, only julia (who was working with my in-charge that day) and i celebrated her birthday.
She was pleasantly surprised and touched. It made me happy to see her smile and laugh. We chatted for quite some time before we went to Giant Hypermart to buy so chocolates (Hello panda and kinder bueno) for myself. Heehee... Gonna get scolded by somebody liao- my nursy mummy with that large tumour in her head and decreasing blood pressure. Whahahaha...
My birthday's nearing too!!! People, u know what to do...heh heh heh...Just joking.
