Yesterday evening, i walked along Bugis...(dunno wat is the street's name) with Stephie and BY. I was trying hard to memorise the route there so that i can familiarise myself with the place. At the same time, we fooled around, bullying each other and squabbling non-stop. It was so much fun. Soon, we reached YMS centre.. We stood outside YMS auditorium and watched the crowd while digging out our tickets. Into the auditorium we went and settled ourselves at a 3-seater. There was just a grand piano on stage and the lights were dimmed, to focus on the stage. I was skeptical on enjoying the show as i have no music background. Browsing through the phamplet which they handed out, we waited for the concert to begin. At 7.30 sharp, the emcee announced the start of the concert. Jin Ping was the first performer. The pieces of music she played was so in-depth and too complicated for me to understand. I was thoroughly confused after her performance. Following hers was Evelyn. She was the second performer of the nite. Her ones were simpler to understand and very emotional. I loved it. Next on stage was Johnathan. He's superb! He feels with the music while hitting the keys on the piano. It was fabulous. I enjoyed his very much. Finally, soonie came on stage and she was so stoned..haha... think she was extremely nervous. But she did fantasically well too. Last but not least, there was Siew Ting. She was wow! Her err did not change the impression i have of her- a music prodigy... All of them were overwhelming. How i wish i had a little of their talents. hehe... After their heartwarming performance, two choirs from 2 different schools sang 3 songs. There was this little girl who was so adorable and small sized. Felt like carrying her... haha... The final segment of the concert was ballonology. The entire auditorium was breaking out in laughters. And Evelyn was such a teaser. haha... fond memories... + thanks soonie for this beautiful concert. U were great!
