Valentine's Day

Today's the first day i celebrated Valentine's day. However, the date was not a guy but 5 gals. haha... It was so much fun. We ended lessons at 2pm and headed straight for Orchard. Bus 174 was packed and all of us had to stood. The passengers kept banging into my favourite bag!!! So irritating... haha... anyway, we reached Orchard about 30 mins later and walked to Heeren to try our luck in reserving some seats for dinner. We were competing with couples for seats at restaurants. So naughty of us... hehe... But we didn't manage to get any reservations. All were walk-in basis...
Practically every couple walking down the streets of Orchard Road was carrying a bouquet of roses, or the equilavent of it. So envious of them. Shermal was pretty upset and kept grumbling about those girls receiving bouquet of roses from their bfs. haha...
Caught the movie called Constant Garderner. It was extremely complicated. I was so groggy after watching the movie. I caught some sleep while watching the movie. The storyline was sophisticated and there were no subtitles!!! Their voices were muffled at times and it was difficult to make out what they were talking about. Half the time, i was trying to figure out what the storyline was and the other half, i was concentrating on not falling asleep. The screen shots kept jerking, making me feel like vomiting. I felt terribly sick after watching the movie.
After this horrible movie, we proceeded to Maestro Bistro for dinner (we managed to reserve some seats). From 7pm, we waited till 7.30pm before our main course was served. For every dish we ordered, we had to wait for at least 20 mins. Can't blame the restaurant. It was packed like sardines and a long queue was waiting outside. And we were surrounded by couples. 99.99% of their customers were couples and we belonged to the 0.01%. Anyway, our dinner was so scumptious. We had chicken/fish and chips, fondue and ice-cream waffle. They were all delicious. But i gave up eating after my stomach was bloated. The waiters there were pretty cute. Especially the nerdy one and the indian guy with countless earholes. haha...
After which, we parted at Somerset MRT station. It was a pleasant Valentine's day!!! Thanks gals.
