Father's Day

Another year has passed and it is once again Father's Day. Every third week of June, my family will be celebrating Father's Day. Just like most families, we will have a meal followed by some shopping. The same old boring stuff... oops. haha.
Reminiscing the past, as a little girl, i used to create hand-made cards. Gradually, it turned into computer generated cards. Few years back, i had this tendency to buy presents in replacement of cards. This year, a treat for daddy (shared among all family members). Having noticed the gradual changes over the year, i felt that i had become lazier. Not a very good sign. haha... Anyway, at least it was better than nothing.
Maybe i hadn't mentioned this before. Once something is of liking to daddy's taste buds, he will take it 3 consecutive times. Then it will be a long period before he takes the same type of food again. How weird u may ask, but that's my daddy.
We had teppanyaki last sunday. We had teppanyaki on father's day. Got the point? He decided on this place. Twice in a row. But this time round, there will not be a thrice. Service was pretty bad. One of the chefs was clearing the tables as we were finishing our food. A good service crew will usually clear the tables AFTER the customers had left. This guy is a sotong. Just that simple act caused him to lose one customer or rather, 5 gluttons. Too bad.
Daddy asked for more chilli to be added to his ordered set meal and mine happened to be the same as his. That same chef cooked 2 portions at the same time to save time. But but but, he poured the entire saucer of chilli onto the food while he was cooking. Omg... he nearly spiced me to death. I was sucking my fruit punch like someone who was deprived of water for several weeks. Daddy and bro were laughing at my flushed face. Tears were welling up in my eyes and i had a runny nose. My face was really red. RED. But it was thrilling. lol. Spiced up my little life.
After we have had our meal, we shopped in Cold Storage, John Little and Popular with bro entertaining me with all his interesting stories about teaching in ITE. Those peeps there really changed his perception of them. It was amazing how they could change my bro's previous impression of ITE peeps instilled in him for his entire life within 2 weeks. *claps*
