I started off the day with an early morning, accompanying mummy to the market. Several hours later, i was on my way to meet the gals. So coincidentally, baoyi and elaine took the same train aboarding at the same spot as me towards Dhoby Ghaut mrt station. As we were delayed due to a problem in the train, we reached there late. Caught up with stephie and shermal to take lunch. Since Secret Recipes was too crowded, we decided on Ajisen Ramen. I took the set meal with a choice of ramen, side dish and drink. Holy cow... the volcano ramen rocked my tongue. Spiced me till my nose flowed like a tap. Elaine had the same set as me and she was downing her glass of ice lemon tea as she ate. Lol. Afterwhich, stephie left us for her piano lesson and we headed on to Lido to catch Dreamgirls. Since the movie would only start an hour later, we roamed in Isetan and bought shermal's facial product - an expert in such stuff.. haha. The movie was boring at first and gradually got better as the minutes went by. It was more of a musical, with songs to express how each of them feel at that point in time. In addition to that, the actors were fabulous. Hearing them sing melted me. Beyonce's pretty image plus her beautiful voice, powerhouse Jennifer Hudson, R&B Keith Robinson and comical Eddie Murphy made the film all the better. It also showed how the media works internally. Absolutely worth the ticket. So dead tired after that and went home to rest.
