Very quickly, the Lunar New Year has come to an end. To mark the end of this period, we had steamboat for both lunch and dinner. Yums~! Steamboat was homemade and thus superb. There was a variety of ingredients to mix with and the shitake mushrooms were fabulous. Thoroughly enjoyed it. This reminds me of the past few years where we skipped the practice of having steamboat. Instead, we replaced it with yusheng. This year, we only managed to "lau" it once. Haha, it was fun nevertheless. Mummy brought the mixture of vegetables really high up. Bel even stood on the chair. Lol.. That two crazy peeps. The many preparations before the first day of the New Year ended with a silent note on the very last day. No more lion dance drummings to hear until next year. And the process repeats itself...
