As promised earlier, i gave a treat to my family on Sunday night at HK Hilltop Restaurant. The meal was fairly alright, though the food wasn't all that fantastic. And i finally got to taste portuguese stew. It was a mixture of thick curry flavoured, creamy sauce which wasn't pleasant to my tastebuds. There were soup dumplings as well!! Yums~! The drinks had really unique names. Root beer and a scoop of ice-cream is named as 'black cow'. Milo with a scoop of ice-cream, sprinkled with milo powder was given the name 'gozilla'. Lol. But nevertheless, they tasted good. After dinner, we went to do some shopping. Family togetherness is always welcoming. Missed the time spent with my family after internship started. Days at work are getting better. Relationships with colleagues are improving, workload is manageable and the time spent with Stephie and Huiling was great. =)) Posted by Lynette at |
