Work's been pretty good so far. No longer was i waiting for time to tick by. Instead, i was racing against time, trying hard to knock off on the dot, but that somehow seemed impossible. Though i was thrown with heavier responsibilities, the workload was manageable. With a manageable workload came a fairly reasonable pay. Simply putting it, my pay isn't as high compared to what others are earning. With that said, there's a price to pay with higher salaries. Poor Soonie had so much to handle. Rushing datelines, heavy workloads, and uncomprehensible job duties. Haha, she seemed really stressed out. Relax gal. :) Lunches with Soonie were great! We explored different stalls in China Square each day, and fully utilised our lunch hour before heading back to work reluctantly. Our daily hideout at the "botanic garden" was giving us lots of unwanted red bumps on our arms and legs. Soonie even took the effort to count them. LOL. Yeps, that's work. At least it wasn't as bad as audit. Counting down to the day where i'll be leaving the finance department. 1.5 more months to go! Posted by Lynette at |
