All the way down to VivoCity, eager to get our hands on the tauhu goreng, only to be disappointed when the stall had been taken over by others. Sad. So Daddy, Mummy and i settled for some other food. I ordered a plate of nasi lemak which cost me almost $10!!! $9.40 to be exact. Sheesh. When i saw the price appear on the cash register, i went "berserk". Daddy returned me a shocked look and we walked back to our seats exclaiming over the costly plate of nasi lemak. OMG OMG OMG! Haha, Daddy was so understanding. He took the time to rationalise the reasons for the steep price of the food. In fact, everything there was pretty expensive. Not only the food. Just walk into any of the shops and the price tags automatically usher one out. Puma, Tommy Hilfiger, Topman, Nautica, etc. Not at all suitable for the mid-class families to shop for luxurious goods. Can see, can touch, but cannot buy = window shopping. I saw a bag in Tommy Hilfiger which looked so pretty. A spacious sea blue bag with a layer of gloss on the outside. I didn't even bother to look at the price tag then. Must have cost a bomb. Mummy loves to shop in marts. Perhaps it's every homemaker's favourite place? Giant, CS Marketplace... Giant really lives up to its name. Really enormous in there. Wonder how much is its monthly rental... On and on we walked until we came by The Cocoa Tree. Chocs and sweets! I love the former. Definitely a must-go for the sweet-tooth. We purchased some chocolates having tasted it some months back. Thanks ah di. Haha... Afterwhich, we adjourned to Chinatown to buy dinner and tomorrow's breakfast. Yums~ Posted by Lynette at |
