There is nothing i dislike about schooling except for this - group projects. Somehow, it is the cause of most conflicts and unhappiness among team members. At times, i prefer having individual projects to group projects. If a group project is capable of allowing one person to single-handedly manage it, i do not mind seeing to it myself. This beats aging over anger. I thank those who actually lent me their ears. My blood was boiling and was just shot of spewing atrocious vulgarities. I require anger management skills which i foresee will be of good use in the near future. As always, whenever something goes wrong, i'll reflect. Is it my problem or their issue? Am i too on the ball or they simply can't be bothered? I have no answer to it but personally i aim to complete tasks once assigned than panicking over them at the last minute. However, the latter always seem to be occuring in group projects. Things never get done till the eleventh hour. I'm really sick of that. 1.5 months after Uni started and this is the very first time i nearly blew my top. I hate - and i emphasize it with a capital H - people to accuse me for no particular reason due to their lack of knowledge. You used an irritated tone on me, accusing me of stuff i had so painstakingly done after much thought and research, which you knew nuts of and contributed naught, throwing accusatory remarks at me, which i could so easily refute. What's more, you implied my work to be equivalent to that of trash... Damn you. Seriously, save yourself that embarrassment and check things out before slamming back at others. If you can't even interpret instructions correctly in the first place, kindly clarify before jumping to conclusions and getting yourself dumbfounded right after my explanation. After this incident, you definitely made me look at you differently. As my two confidantes put it, i ought to be a baddie at times. This will save me from getting bullied and taken advantage of by others. I always had the impression JC students were a studious lot, equipped with a reasonable level of intelligence. Perhaps that's only true for those from elite schools. It's high time i change my perception of them. I was so totally wrong from the start... Posted by Lynette at |
