The nagging pain at the arches of my feet forced me to visit a doctor. Intended to obtain a letter of recommendation from the polyclinic to reduce my medical fees. That seemed redundant now. Doc diagnosed me suffering from plantar fasciitis - a medical term for flat feet. Great. Everything that involves feet movements is going to be cumbersome. Athletic activities though permissible have to done with care. Doc prescribed anti-inflammatory drugs and advised committing myself to daily physiotherapy to relieve the pain. Also, foot arches have to be placed in shoes to reduce the muscles between the toes and heels from stretching the plantar. A suffering for life. That sucks. Seems like i'm destined for flats and pumps only. Heels and stilettos will only aggravate my condition. I can't elevate my height anymore! Oh man! Grrrr... Lol. Perhaps i will stop jogging from now on. Tennis... hmmm probably less strenuous sessions. Hopefully the foot arches and painkillers will help... Posted by Lynette at |
