First were my primary school friends. Now were my secondary school friends. This month has proved fruitful in meeting up with old friends. Qiu Han, Yuting and Cecilia - the three ladies i hung out with most often in secondary school. The greatest change award would have gone to Cecilia. Her outer appearance took a 360 degree switch. Qiu Han looked fairly the same as before, only with her hair dyed and rebonded. Yuting didn't change. Haha.. perhaps even slimmer than before. The four of us had lunch at Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe. Since it was a brand new outlet in Northpoint, customers streamed in and out non-stop. Though it was already past 1pm, there was still a queue outside. Food was not bad. We were definitely spoilt for choice. There were more than 200 items to choose from. Their desserts were humongous. Qiu Han and Cecilia had a mango something something and the shaved ice piled up like that of an ice kachang, or perhaps even higher. They ate till their mouths and noses were numbed. Haha! Shopped around the new wing. I've walked around for a couple of times. The freshness of the shops had already died alittle for me. But at least they were far better than before the renovation set in. It was a short meetup and i was back home to accompany lovely Mummy. :)) Posted by Lynette at |
