Shop Till We Dropped

In the late morning, headed down to BPGHS to buy Babe's school books. They were darn heavy. Afterwhich, we adjourned to Northpoint for lunch at Ishi Mura.

Foodcourt as it is named but it carries the looks of a restaurant. Bright green bamboo shoots ran across the perimeters of the 4-unit big foodcourt. They certainly added colour to the densely populated set of dark wooden furniture. A total of 10 stalls sold various types of Japanese cuisine ranging from ramen, sushi, tempura to rice burgers.

New to this foodcourt, the rice burgers definitely tempted me. I had a salmon menkai set for a mere $6.20. The salmon rice burger came with a drink and some fries. It tasted as good as it looked. Not only that, it was a fusion of the East and the West. A nice mix of two cultures - very interesting concept.

With Daddy and Mummy around, our stomaches will always be stuffed with food. Today was no exception. We had a spread of food, man. Tempura (softshell crabs, sweet potato, lotus and mushroom), deep fried fish and chicken patties, squid, ramen, miso soup, japanese curry and lots of sushi! That's besides my rice burger set.

Nevertheless, the food was reasonably good considering both the price and flavour. I wouldn't mind going back for more again. :))

After such a hearty meal, we were in need of some exercise. We lingered in Giordano for god knows how long. Daddy is getting trendier! Haha... sexy jeans and tee. He claimed he looks younger that way. With lots of tease bugs in my genes, i couldn't help but strongly disagreed and he shot me a "furious" look. Heh.

We then proceeded to Esprit. It was having a clearance sale! That made my day. I busied myself with those pretty blouses. In the end, i made do with 2 blouses and easily persuaded Mummy to get me a wallet (which i claimed was for my 21st birthday. That always does the trick. Haha..) Woo hoo~ That somehow settled my CNY shopping. Ayyy... such a quick affair. Sad-ded.

Yeps, right after the purchases, we were about to crumble. Shopping truly makes one really tired. That concluded our day out. Back home to rejuvenate!
