	Friday, May 08, 2009 Dezhi's 21st First stop: Pammie's house. Helped bake cupcakes for Dezhi. Slightly moist, soft in texture and looked beautifully chocolatey. My first experience in baking, with much help from Pammie. Second stop: Cityhall MRT station. Met up with Dezhi for dinner. Stopped by Esplanade to watch Esther perform. So cool :) Surveyed the restaurants nearby but none to our liking. In the end, we settled dinner at Popeye's. Third stop: Singapore Flyer. Right after dinner, we went up the Singapore Flyer. A first time for me. Magnificent view from above. Especially at the peak, we had a panoramic view of Singapore. Faraway buildings resembled millions of simultaneously tiny burning candles. The orange glows were exceptionally beautiful. A golf course not too far away, the lights of ships sailing in the strait of Malacca, the skyscrapers nearby, cars whizzing by on the roads below... Simply brilliant. Lots of cam whoring definitely. The 45 minutes ride felt no more than 15 minutes had gone by. But my acrophobia was a drag. Prevented me from going close to the glass windows for a better view. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable :) Photos will be posted up asap.
