I nearly did something totally out of character today. Luckily, the restraining forces within me kicked in and held me back. If i had acted on the spur of the moment by throwing my arms around Weijie, i believe i would have invited unnecessary gossips and unintentionally causing this old friend a "heart attack". It has been a year since i last saw him. All that excitement upon seeing an old friend shredded away my reservations until the final moment where i retracted my arms. Phew.. Had it been a girlfriend of mine, i'm almost certain i would wrap my arms around her. Ladies, beware. Haha.. A welcome hug, that is. No worries. Not a lesbian in the making. I think i can do just that tomorrow. It requires courage given my reserved personality. But i'll most likely scare my godsis. Lol. If only i was born a westerner... this sort of hugs are shared so much more freely. Not that i enjoy hugging people. =.= Just the excitement in seeing a person whom i haven't met in year(s) always makes me feel like hugging them. Their presence brings comfort, you see.
