It was one of the rarest moments where the entire family caught a movie together. Unfortunately, Ice Age 3 wasn't as good as i thought it would be. An occasional laugh to mask the numerous boring scenes. No roars of laughter in the theatre except for this little boy who was easily amused. Apparently, he was funnier than the movie itself. Sadly, it wasn't as laughter stimulating as i expected. Right after the movie, it was dinner at Eighteen Chefs. The menu selection was intriguing. You can be your own chef! That means you can select your choice of rice/pasta, base and ingredients. So cool man. But no, i didn't try that. Ala carte was our choice. Another factor that made me love the restaurant was the choice of staff. Delinquents and youths-at-risk quote unquoted, to wait and serve. Tattoos and all but they are extremely polite and helpful. One even tried to crack a joke when he served us ice-creams. Haha.. interesting fellows. And the boss was formerly trained at Jamie Oliver's! The one and only Singaporean to do so. How cool is that :) Food: Acceptable A good choice for students because the set lunch costs only $6+ for a pasta/baked rice, drink and soup. If i didn't remember it wrongly.
